During my time at Virgin Media I have enhanced my team building and customer skills greatly. I am tasked with standing outside the virgin media gamepad and approaching customers in the o2 arena selling the (free) space to them, while also promoting the virgin media wifi. My managers have also complimented me on my abilities to confidently approach customers and successfully navigate ways in which I can promote the space and wifi. When working inside the space I am tasked with helping the customers navigate the gaming systems which we provide (Xbox, Playstation, Nintendo Switch) I have worked out the best ways in which to approach customers and proficiently help them with their queries.
I did work experience at the post house Warner Bros De Lane Lea, I was tasked with providing some of the most well-known editors, sound designers, colour graders, etc with hot/cold drinks and sometimes food. I took this as a great networking opportunity while also trying to maintain new relations in the film industry. I also sat in with editors for an hour a day learning what it is like to be an edit assistant in a professional film environment.
Unreal engine
My experience
I have a huge passion for creating scenes in unreal engine.

When I started university it was between games design and film production eventually I chose film but creating shots in unreal engine is the perfect mix of the two.

Utilising this software in my final major projects although being self taught I managed to elevate my film using the software.

I edit primarily on Avid Media Composer and Premiere Pro.

Utilising these softwares throughout the years I have taken advice from industry workers and honed my workflows to theirs.

I have learnt the best way to edit each genre in my style while maintaining the professional way of transcoding and exporting.
